ALUMINIZED STEEL

General description

Aluminized steel is steel coated with an aluminum-silicio alloy through the hot-dip process. The alloy contains 5 to 11% silicio to promote better adhesion. It is suitable for use in articles with heat resistance and critical oxidation resistance.

This steel has a significant presence in the automotive market, particularly in applications such as exhaust pipes, insulators, covers, transmission panels, etc.

At Galvaprime, we target the mentioned market as well as the household appliance market with this type of steel in thin thicknesses and more.
