GALVANNEAL STEELS
General description
Galvannealed steel is steel coated through the Galvannealing process, which involves heating the steel after the coating process at a temperature between 1000 to 1050°F. This generates an alloy of 12% Iron and 88% Zinc on the surface of the finished product, resulting in versatility for spot welding and improved surface for the painting process.
Galvaprime has a strong presence in the automotive and industrial markets with this
type of steel.
